For Somebody Special

i just made this up, its more just a string of words, rather than a poem really, but its got to be the most truthful thing i've ever written, so here goes...

When he looks into your eyes,
And can't tell you you're gorgeous,

When he sees into your soul,
And can't tell you your perfect,

If he tells you you're blind to the world,
Know my dear, its him who can't see,

Because you're beautiful, and wonderful,
And you see things that nobody else can,

Because you are crazy special,
Don't let anybody tell you different.

I've always been sensitive to people and animals.. I have never been able to think of someone getting hurt without shuddering. When I discovered what veganism was, I started researching to grasp he full idea. When I saw what was being done to animals everywhere, I just couldn't eat milk or eggs, or anything from an animal deriditive. I was already a vegetarian beforeheand( eating meat completely grossed me out, it was like I was eating a pet * shudders*) but I made the transition to veganism over a year ago overnight. At first I thought that it might be hard.. but it's really not, it's actually alot of fun and I feel alot better.
Don't worry about people in your highschool, they are just beng teenagers. The only thing that matters is that YOU are happy with what you are doing:]

hah yeah, I do keep track.. it's more of a food journal with vegan specials thrown in, lol.
Hmm, well if you do look into what happens in factory.. be warned: don't research on a full stomach! Like, literally. Alot of the stuff is revolting and terrifying that people do that to animals..

haha, good luck! If you do get around to looking at it, here's a super good site about the treatment of animals: www.veganoutreach.org

And I can promise you, if you ever decided to become vegan , you will NEVER regret it!

Hmm there are two songs on my page ( I am not quite sure which one you are talking about, lol) The first one is "Hero" by Enrique Iglesias- my favorite ever and the second one is "Come Here" by Lili haydn- my second favorite song!
My parents were like that too, when I became a vegan they thought that I had gone nuts. They figured that it was "just a phase" and that i would get out of it. Well, it's over a year later and I'm still a vegan ( with plans to be vegan forever) . It took them about 4 months to see that I was SERIOUS, once they realized that I meant business and that it wasn't a fad diet, they were very supportive. My mom helps me label read, and my dad is always interested in vegan products for me. Although the beginning may be rough, I'm sure that they will come around if you stick with it for awhile:D

Do you spend weekends with your dad? An easy thing to do would be to stock up on Luna bars ( or any bars of that sort) and when you go to his house, have a bunch of those and soymilk in your bag. ( I've traveled with soymilk before and it actually works. ) There are alot of vegan things that don't need to refrigerated so maybe you could eat those while you are at his house?

Hey! I just wanna let you know that just because i type like that does NOT mean i'm gay. (Although my sister wishes it apon me! Don't tell anyone though!) So, I have a responding poem to the one you wrote! Here goes: "One summer's night."
By Coolboyonli1:
On one summer's night,
I played the day away,
And then I heard my mom say,
"Dinner is read-ay!",
So I ran as fast as I could,
Much faster than I should,
When I ran into a girl,
With beautiful blond curls,
And then the world stood still,
And then against my will,
Our lips touched and great emotion spread out,
all around and about,
I didn't notice the time,
because I was lost in her eyes,
My! She was a beautiful sight!,
And then I walked home gloomy,
filled with doomy,
because I knew that after dinner that I'd be sent to my roomy,
I was late,
and was filled with love yet hate,
For I longed to see her again,
Because I thought we were more than friends,
That moment that we joined had felt so right,
and that's how I spend one summer's night. Post on my blog and tell me what you thought! Bye!
